Guests are set for a royal buzz at Gulliver’s this weekend as our Resorts host a Bee-Kind Weekend.

Coinciding with World Bee Day, our four theme parks will boast bee-rilliant adventures, supporting conservation projects across the UK.

To mark the event, £1 of each ticket sold over Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May will be donated to Bumblebee Conservation Trust, who vision a world where Bumblebees are thriving and valued.

The occasion is a part of Gulliver’s ongoing ‘Giant Jubilee’ celebration, running from 14th May – 5th June, marking Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne, hosted by our very own Queen Bee!

The BBCT was established because of serious concerns about the ‘plight of the bumblebee’, and over the past century, bumblebee populations have crashed. Two species have become nationally extinct, and several others have declined dramatically.

Bumblebees are familiar and much-loved insects that pollinate crops and wildflowers. The BBCT’s mission is to increase the number and distribution of bumblebees. A growing number of committed supporters are helping a team of staff make a big difference.

Julie Dalton, Managing Director at Gulliver's Theme Park Resorts said: ‘’This weekend families can enjoy a fantastic day out while supporting a great cause.''

"As a family-owned business we know how important it is to protect and preserve the environment for future generations. We hope this event will help to increase awareness of Bee Conservation across the UK.”
